I may be wrong but I seem to remember hearing it was something to do with sponsors pulling out. Like I say don't quote me on that though. Or more likely there was not a way of running the game where money could be made. At the end of the day MS are like every other company they do enjoy making money.

Personally I did not think much to the game, the chance of being the 1 seemed impossibly slim and it didn't seem to work very well anyway.
